A Quick Check
There is a program for Windows called 3d Studio 2008 which you can download for free in some places. This will allow you to warp and create your own 3d models and even entire landscapes that will be navigable in games such as Counter Strike Source. I am going to download and try this to make a quick weapon model for a Source Physics engine game.

good idea i think ill nab this idea for my creation XD!
Also i dont think making guns in your grad project is a good idea without getting permission or approval to add that into your idea. i would recomend something that is not gun related just to make the teachers or staff not mad or worried about your idea. Try asking Savido first before you start putting some work on the project
